O Allah, provide us with piety and suffice us from [following] our desires, and suffice us from what concerns us of the matters of our worldly life and our Hereafter.
Your forgiveness
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female-servant. My front hair is in Your hand. Your command over me is enacted. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or that You have kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the Unseen which is with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sadness, and a reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, grant us rain! O Allah, grant us rain! O Allah, grant us rain!
O Allah, the Restorer of the lost, and the Guide of the stray, guide me to my lost item, and restore it to me by Your power and authority, for it is from Your giving and Your bounty.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, the goodness of what it contains, and the goodness of its nature. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of what it contains, and the evil of its nature.
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it on our own. And surely, we are to return to our Lord. O Allah, we ask You on this journey of ours for goodness and piety, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and shorten its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the One Who will look after the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, from seeing a sad sight, and from an evil outcome in wealth and family. And when he returned, he would say these words, saying: Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, I ask Allah for forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and deeds accepted.
O Allah, the Restorer of the lost, and the Guide of the astray, guide me to my lost item and return it to me by Your power and Your authority, for it is from Your bounty and Your gift.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, teach me the Book (Al-Qur'an) and the reckoning (knowledge of matters). O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, helplessness and laziness, cowardice and stinginess, the burden of debt, and the overpowering of men.
