Duas during times of difficulty and hardship
O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting Lord, by Your mercy I seek help. Rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself even for the span of an eye.
O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy. If You please, You can make hardship easy.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any one of Your creation, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my worries.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have revealed in Your Book, or You have taught to any of Your creation, or You have retained in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sorrow, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your wrath, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that You possess, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress.
O Allah, suffice me against them, by whatever means You wish.
O Allah, I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your female slave. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone among Your creation, or You have kept to Yourself in the hidden knowledge of Your unseen, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the subjugation of men.
