Duas during storms, wind, drought, eclipse, and natural events
Glory be to Him whose command is carried out as He wills.
O Allah, make it a pleasant wind, and not a tormenting one.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, let it be a beneficial rain.
Glory be to Allah, the Magnificent, and praise be to Him. O Allah, I ask You for the attainment of martyrdom and the longing for martyrdom. Make light in my hearing and my sight, and make light for me in my religion, and light in my grave, and light on the Day when You resurrect. Glory be to You, O Allah, there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
O Allah, make it winds (plural, gentle ones) and do not make it a wind (singular, a harsh one).
O Allah, make it a beneficial downpour.
O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, the goodness of what is within it, and the goodness of what it has been sent with. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of what is within it, and the evil of what it has been sent with. O Allah, I ask You to make it a source of blessing for me and to subjugate it to me, just as You subjugated the wind to Sulayman, and just as You subjugated the fire to Ibrahim. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, and from the evil of Satan, and from evil sent by Satan, and from the evil of what he commands.
O Allah, (make it) a beneficial rain.
On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Seven [types of people] Allah will shade with His shade on the Day when there is no shade but His: the just ruler; a young person who grew up in the worship of Allah; a man whose heart is attached to the mosques; two men who love each other for Allah's sake, meeting and parting upon that; a man whom a woman of rank and beauty invited [for an illegal act] but he said, 'I fear Allah'; a man who gives charity and conceals it so much that his left hand does not know what his right hand spends; and a man who remembers Allah when he is alone and his eyes are flooded with tears.'
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the fading of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that angers You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from destruction, drowning, burning, and extreme old age. I seek refuge in You from being tormented by Satan at the time of death. I seek refuge in You from dying in Your cause while turning my back (in retreat). I seek refuge in You from dying from a poisonous bite. O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne, be a neighbor for me against this harm and all harm. And subjugate for me Your creation, so that none may have any path against me, except he whose path is against You; then You will be sufficient for me. O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne, suffice me against this harm as You wish.
O Allah, grant us rain! O Allah, grant us rain! O Allah, grant us rain!
