Duas for relief from anxiety, worry, and distress
O Allah, forgive me for what I have sent forth (of deeds) and what I have delayed, for what I have concealed and what I have revealed, and for what I have exceeded. And what You know better about me than myself. You are the Advancer and the Delayer. There is no god but You.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Magnificent Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, the Splitter of the seed and the date stone, the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran, I seek refuge in You from the evil of all things You are seizing by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, before Whom nothing exists, and You are the Last, after Whom nothing exists, You are the apparent, above Whom nothing exists, and You are the hidden, closer than Whom nothing exists. Settle our debts for us and enrich us from poverty. O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, so that I may not resort to what You have made unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need to ask from anyone other than You.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of the devils and their presence.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overpowered by men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overpowered by men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and debt.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I have submitted myself to You, and turned my face to You, and entrusted my affair to You, and sought refuge in You, desiring and fearing You. There is no refuge or safety from You except in You. I believe in the Book You have revealed and the Prophet You have sent.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is unfailing. Your justice in my case is inevitable. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept secret in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my grief, and the banisher of my worry.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female-servant. My front hair is in Your hand. Your command over me is enacted. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or that You have kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the Unseen which is with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sadness, and a reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I ask You for a good end.
