Duas for qiyam al-layl, tahajjud, and late night devotion
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my sexual organ.
O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided, grant me well-being among those whom You have granted well-being, take me into Your care among those whom You have taken into Your care, bless me in what You have given, and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. For You decree, and none can decree against You. And none, whom You have taken as an ally, can be humbled. Blessed are You, our Lord, and exalted.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and firmness in pursuing guidance. I ask You for the grace to be thankful for Your favors and to worship You in the best manner. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil You know. I ask Your forgiveness for what You know. Indeed, You are the Knower of all unseen.
O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, our Lord and Lord of everything, the opener of the grain and the date-stone, the revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion (Quran)! I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything You are holding by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the Outwardly Apparent, so there is nothing above You; You are the Hidden, so there is nothing beyond You. Settle our debts for us and enrich us from poverty.
O Allah, teach me the interpretation of narrations, and enlighten me with the knowledge of what was and what will be, and protect me from the evil of this world and the hereafter, and make me among Your righteous servants, and inspire me with my guidance, and protect me from the evil of my soul.
O Allah, teach me the Book and wisdom, and grant me understanding in the religion, and expedite for me the comprehension of the Quran.
"Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. Blessed is Your name, and exalted is Your majesty. There is no god but You."
O Allah, I ask You for a soul at rest, which believes in meeting You, is pleased with Your decree, and content with Your bestowal.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all that they cover, Lord of the seven earths and all that they hold, Lord of the devils and all that they lead astray, Lord of the winds and all that they scatter! I ask You for the good of this village and the good of its people, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of it and the evil of its people, and the evil of all that is within it.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Magnificent Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, the Cleaver of the grain and the date-stone, the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion (Quran). I seek refuge in You from the evil of every creature that You are seizing by its forelock. You are the First, and nothing is before You. You are the Last, and nothing is after You. You are the Most Exalted, and nothing is above You. You are the Most Hidden, and nothing is closer than You. Relieve me of my debt and enrich me from poverty.
O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You in the best manner.
