Evening remembrance and supplications
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from misguidance, from ignorance, from refraining from evil, and from poverty.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the discontinuation of Your blessings, and the reversal of the wellness You granted, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. And I seek refuge in You from the trial of wealth, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of poverty. And I seek refuge in You from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire and the punishment of the Fire. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my sight, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my tongue, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my heart, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my sexual fluid.
O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You in the best manner.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth nor in the sky can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this night and the goodness of what is in it and the goodness of what comes after it. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what is in it and the evil of what comes after it. O Allah, I ask You to make my provision in it abundant, and to make my affair in it easy, and to forgive my sin, and to have mercy on me.
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the suffering, heal [him/her], You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt and the subjugation of men.
In Your name, my Lord, I have laid down my side, and in Your name I raise it. If You should take my soul, forgive it, and if You should return my soul, protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and deeds accepted.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm on earth or in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
