Duas for sincere repentance and turning back to Allah
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demolition of Your blessings, the transformation of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
O Allah, forgive me my errors, my ignorance, my excess in my affairs, and whatever You know better than I. O Allah, forgive me my jesting and my seriousness, my unintentional and intentional sins, and my resolve and my jesting, all of that is with me.
O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, and in Your forgiveness from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot count Your praises; You are as You have praised Yourself.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my worries.
By Your name, my Lord, I lie down and by Your name I rise. If You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return my soul, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your justice over me is assured. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or have taught to anyone from Your creation, or have revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen/discharge.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the guide away from my worries, and an aid for me against [my desires], and a fighter against my enemies, and a guide for me to Paradise, and a driver away from the Hellfire (by which what is lawful and unlawful is distinguished).
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the secret.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor, and that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to try Your creation with a trial, then take me to Yourself without [being tried and falling into] that trial. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
