Duas for sincere repentance and turning back to Allah
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I ask You for a sincere repentance, and that You forgive me for what I have committed and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have revealed, and what I know of it more than You. You are the One Who sends forth and the One Who delays; there is no god but You.
O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no deity worthy of worship except You. You created me, and I am Your slave, and I am abiding by Your covenant and promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me and I acknowledge my sins. So forgive me, for indeed, none can forgive sins except You.
O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for what I have done and what I have left undone, for what I have concealed and what I have openly done, and for what You know better than I. You are the One who sends forth and You are the One who delays; there is no deity except You.
O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no deity except You. You created me, and I am Your servant. I am abiding by Your covenant and Your promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for indeed, none can forgive sins except You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have bestowed upon Yourself, or You revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have retained in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sorrow and a reliever of my anxiety.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity worthy of worship except You. You created me, and I am Your slave. I am abiding by Your covenant and promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sins. So forgive me, for indeed, none can forgive sins except You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your Hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment on me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept secret in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my grief, and a reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment against me is inevitable. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, by which You have revealed it in Your Book, or You have taught it to any of Your creation, or You have retained in Your knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demise of Your blessings, the transformation of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all Your displeasure.
