Duas for comfort when feeling alone or isolated
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demolition of Your blessings, and from the transformation of Your well-being, and from the suddenness of Your punishment, and from all of Your displeasure. And I seek refuge in You from the distress of tribulation, and the attainment of misery, and the evil of fate, and the rejoicing of enemies.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment upon me is enacted. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept exclusively to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that You possess, to make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is inevitable. Your justice concerning me is fair. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to one of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the delight of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to test a people, take me to Yourself without [my being tested]. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, forgive my father, raise his station, and leave behind those who would follow him. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward and do not try us after him.
O Allah, I ask You for the good of this place and the good of its people and the good of whatever is in it. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of this place and the evil of its people and the evil of whatever is in it.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a remover of my sadness and a banisher of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help. Rectify for me all of my affairs and do not entrust me to myself for the span of an eye-blink.
