Duas for seeking forgiveness from Allah
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs and my family and my property. O Allah, conceal my weaknesses and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from my front and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your might from being smitten from beneath me.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, provision that is good and pure, and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You! I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
Our Lord, forgive us our sins and our extravagance in our affair and plant firm our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. And when You intend to try Your creation, take me to Yourself without putting me through trial. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him. I seek forgiveness from Allah and I turn to Him in repentance.
O Allah, I ask You for a heart pure from the hypocrisy of this world, a love for the Hereafter, a desire for reward, and a fear of punishment. And that You make sins heralds of repentance, mistakes keys to seizing opportunity, and evil deeds erasers of transgressions. And that You purify my heart from everything that distances me from You.
I seek forgiveness from Allah, besides Whom there is no true god, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting by Whom all subsist, and to Him I turn in repentance.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is executed. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sorrow, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, forgive me my mistakes and my ignorance, and my excess in my affairs, and what You know better about me than I. O Allah, forgive me my jesting and my seriousness, my mistakes and my intentional sins, and what I have with me and my slips. All of that is with me.
O Allah, bestow Your prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, just as You bestowed Your prayers upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious. And bestow Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, just as You bestowed Your blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious. O Allah, I have wronged myself with a great wrong, and none can forgive sins except You. So, grant me forgiveness from You and have mercy upon me. Verily, You are the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
