Duas for strength in old age and caring for elderly parents
When a person dies, their deeds stop except for three things: a continuous charity (sadaqah jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, or a righteous child who prays for them.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, provide for me, and grant me well-being.
O Allah, forgive the Muslim men and Muslim women, and the believing men and believing women, those who are alive among them and those who have died. Indeed, You are All-Hearing, Ever-Near, and the Responder of prayers.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and deeds that are accepted.
O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the passing away of Your favors, and from the change of Your protection, and from the sudden punishment, and from all Your displeasure.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
My Lord, grant me from Yourself, pure offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication.
My Lord, have mercy upon them even as they brought me up when I was young.
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my home as a believer and the believing men and women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my property. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being consumed from beneath me.
