Duas for reliance on Allah and strengthening tawakkul
O Allah, I ask You for its goodness and the goodness of what You have decreed for it, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what You have decreed for it.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could not have achieved it ourselves. And indeed, to our Lord we will return. O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in our journey, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and shorten its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the One Who guards the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, the sorrow of seeing [evil], and the bad luck in wealth and family when returning. When he returned from a journey, he would say 'Allahu Akbar' three times and then say: 'We are returning, repenting, worshipping, and to our Lord we are thankful.'
O Allah, I ask You for its (the new career's) goodness, and the goodness of those associated with it, and the goodness of what it contains. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, and the evil of those associated with it, and the evil of what it contains. O Allah, grant me good in it and turn away from me its evil.
O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy. If You will, You can make hardship easy.
O Allah, I ask You for its good, and the good of what it contains, and the good of what You have predisposed it to. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, and the evil of what it contains, and the evil of what You have predisposed it to.
O mankind, fear your Lord. Indeed, the convulsion of the [final] Hour is a terrible thing.
My Lord, grant me from among the righteous [offspring].
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and the resolve to do what is right. I ask You to make me thankful for Your favors and to enable me to worship You in the best manner. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for all the good You know, and I seek refuge in You from all the evil You know. I ask Your forgiveness for what I know and for what I do not know.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and determination in pursuing righteousness. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your blessings and to worship You in the best way. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good that You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil that I know. I ask Your forgiveness for what I know, and You are the Knower of all hidden things.
Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but Him. I have placed my trust in Him, and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.
