O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and deeds accepted [by You].
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from all evil jinn, male and female.
O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge and seek power from Your might, and I ask for Your magnificent bounty. For indeed You know, and I do not know. You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter โ mention the specific need here, e.g., โperforming Hajj this yearโ โ is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the end of my affairs (or: in my present and future), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the end of my affairs (or: in my present and future), then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and decree for me whatever is good, and make me satisfied with it.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your Magnificence lest I be swallowed up from beneath me.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and determination in following guidance. I ask You to grant me the ability to be grateful for Your favors and to worship You well. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for all the good You know, and I seek refuge in You from all the evil I know. I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, for indeed You are the Knower of all hidden things.
On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Seven [types of people] Allah will shade with His shade on the Day when there is no shade but His: the just ruler; a young person who grew up in the worship of Allah; a man whose heart is attached to the mosques; two men who love each other for Allah's sake, meeting and parting upon that; a man whom a woman of rank and beauty invited [for an illegal act] but he said, 'I fear Allah'; a man who gives charity and conceals it so much that his left hand does not know what his right hand spends; and a man who remembers Allah when he is alone and his eyes are flooded with tears.'
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the fading of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that angers You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from destruction, drowning, burning, and extreme old age. I seek refuge in You from being tormented by Satan at the time of death. I seek refuge in You from dying in Your cause while turning my back (in retreat). I seek refuge in You from dying from a poisonous bite. O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne, be a neighbor for me against this harm and all harm. And subjugate for me Your creation, so that none may have any path against me, except he whose path is against You; then You will be sufficient for me. O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne, suffice me against this harm as You wish.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and protect me from that which frightens me. O Allah, guard me from my front and from my back, from my right and from my left, and from above me. I seek refuge in Your magnificence lest I be consumed from beneath me.
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
Praise be to Allah Who made me taste its pleasure and kept me alive with a life free from harm.
O Allah, forgive me my errors and my deliberate sins, my mistakes and my ignorance, my jesting and my earnestness, and all of that is with me.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and the resolve to do what is right. I ask You to make me thankful for Your favors and to enable me to worship You in the best manner. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for all the good You know, and I seek refuge in You from all the evil You know. I ask Your forgiveness for what I know and for what I do not know.
