Duas for steadfastness, guidance, and firm faith
O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and strength from Your power, and I ask of Your immense grace. For indeed, You have power and I have no power; You have knowledge and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter โ and then you mention your need โ is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter (or: for my present and my future), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter (or: for my present and my future), then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me whatever is good, and make me content with it.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, and from the change of Your protection, and from the sudden vengeance of Your punishment, and from all that You are displeased with. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I know not.
O Allah, guide me and set me aright and remember by Your well-being the evil of that which I have encountered.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment/self-sufficiency.
O Allah, guide us to the best of manners, for none can guide to the best of them except You, and turn us away from evil manners, for none can turn away from evil manners except You.
O Allah, guide me to understand Your Book and to ponder its verses and to act upon what is within it, and make it the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness, and the dispeller of my worry.
O Allah, teach me the Book and wisdom, O Allah, teach me what benefits me, and benefit me with what You have taught me, and increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, guide me and set me on the right path, and by Your guidance, make my opinions sound, and protect me from the evil of my own self.
O Allah, guide me and set me right, and remind me, with guidance, of the path of truth and correctness.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance and rightness, and I ask You for piety, chastity, and richness.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
Our Lord, bestow upon us from Your bounty a table spread with sustenance from the heavens, that it may be a festival for us and for those after us and a sign from You. And provide for us, for You are the best of providers.
