Duas for improving akhlaq, manners, and behavior
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female-servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any one of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which is with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.
O Allah, bring our hearts together, mend the discord between us, guide us to the paths of peace, deliver us from darkness to the light, keep us away from all lewdness, whether apparent or hidden, and bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses, and our offspring. Turn to us in forgiveness, for You are the Ever-Turning, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, grant me well-being, provide for me, mend me, and elevate me. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the distress of this life and the distress of the Day of Resurrection.
O Allah, grant me wisdom, and grant me righteousness.
O Allah, guide me to the best of character, for no one can guide to the best of it except You. And turn me away from bad character, for no one can turn away from bad character except You.
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [also] my offspring. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.
Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair, right guidance.
My Lord, expand for me my breast, and make my affair easy for me, and untie the knot from my tongue so they may understand my speech.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and deeds accepted [by You].
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the reprehensible morals, deeds, and desires.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to shun evil deeds, and to love the poor. And I ask You to forgive me and have mercy upon me. And if You intend to test people, then take me to Yourself without subjecting me to the test. And I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of the deed that will bring me closer to Your love.
