Duas for reliance on Allah and strengthening tawakkul
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and from being overcome by men. O Allah, I ask You for the deeds of goodness, and to abandon the evil deeds, and to love the poor, and that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to try Your servants with a trial, then take me to Yourself without [being tempted by] the trial.
O Allah, I ask You for its (her/his) goodness and the goodness of what You have naturally inclined her/him to, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what You have naturally inclined her/him to. O Allah, I ask You to suffice me against her/him in whatever way You wish and how You wish. O Allah, I ask You to soften her/his heart for me, and to place affection and mercy between us and their hearts.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, and the reversal of the well-being You granted, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from them.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not feel humble, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a prayer that is not answered. O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
O Allah, I ask You for patience with Your decree, contentment after death, a happy life, martyrdom, victory with mercy, goodly life, abundant provision, beneficial knowledge, accepted deeds, and an answered prayer. O Allah, Amen.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment upon me is inevitable. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to anyone of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, indeed I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your female slave. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or taught to anyone from Your knowledge, or sent down in Your Book, or kept exclusively to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overcome by men.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
