Duas for reliance on Allah and strengthening tawakkul
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah. And there is no might nor power except with Allah.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable, and Your judgment concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that You have. Make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a remover of my sadness, and a banisher of my anxiety.
O Allah, I am Your slave, the son of Your male slave, the son of Your female slave. My forelock is in Your Hand. Your judgment upon me is assured, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name belonging to You which You have named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow, and a release for my anxiety.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds and abandon evil deeds, and to be merciful to the poor, and to forgive me and have mercy on me. If You intend to test a people, then take me to Yourself without my being tested. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me to Your love. O Allah, make Your love dearer to me than myself, my family, and than cold water.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the suffering. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no ailment behind.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge of the unseen and the ability to control creation. Keep me alive as long as You know that life is better for me, and cause me to die when You know that death is better for me. O Allah, I ask You for Your fear in secret and in public. I ask You for the word of truth in times of contentment and anger. I ask You for moderation in poverty and wealth. I ask You for blessings that never cease, and for the coolness of the eyes that never ends. I ask You for contentment after (Your) decree, and I ask You for a pleasant life after death. I ask You for the delight of looking at Your noble Face, and the longing to meet You, without any harm or misleading trials. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith and make us guides, rightly guided.
