Virtues & Benefits
This statement, 'Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel,' was uttered by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) when he was thrown into the fire, and by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when the people said to him: 'Indeed, mankind has gathered against you, so fear them.' But it only increased them in faith, and they said: 'Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs' (Quran 3:173). The Prophet ﷺ also said: 'When my followers are attacked and they say: 'Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs,' this becomes a statement of great courage and faith, and Allah often repels the enemy with His might and power.' (Reported by Al-Bukhari, no. 4563). It signifies a complete surrender to Allah's plan, trusting His strength to guide and protect the community through any unknown future.
