Duas for qiyam al-layl, tahajjud, and late night devotion
O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You in the best manner.
O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven which will be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You, and provide for us, for You are the best of providers.
Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and our offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.
O Allah, I ask You by Your knowledge of the unseen and by Your power to create. Keep me alive as long as You know that life is better for me, and cause me to die when You know that death is better for me. I ask You to grant me fear of You in secret and in public. I ask You for the word of truth in satisfaction and anger. I ask You for moderation in poverty and wealth. I ask You for lasting bliss. I ask You for a joy that never ceases. I ask You for contentment after Your decree. I ask You for a pleasant life after death. I ask You for the delight of looking at Your Face and the eagerness to meet You, without any harmful distress or misleading trials. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith, and make us guides who are guided.
O Allah, make me content with Your decree and bless me in what has been destined, so that I do not desire to hasten what You have delayed, nor to delay what You have hastened.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, contentment, the understanding of the Prophet ๏ทบ, the protection of the angel assigned to my secrets and the fulfillment of my deeds. Grant me the ability to learn from the Qur'an what makes me forget (worldly concerns), and make it a light, guidance, and mercy for me. Help me to establish the night prayer and bless me in it and in righteous deeds. Make it a proof for me, and do not make it a proof against me. Grant me understanding in it so that I do not have to ask anyone for anything. And grant me with all of that, all good, and conclude my affairs with goodness. Make for me in what You possess, goodness through this, and save me from all evil, for indeed, You have power over all things.
O Allah, the Restorer of the lost, the Guide of the astray, You guide from misguidance. Restore to me my lost possession by Your power and Your authority, for it is from Your grace and Your giving.
My Lord, forgive me, my parents, those who enter my house as believers, and all believing men and believing women.
O Allah, bestow Your blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You bestowed Your blessings upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, bestow Your protection and goodness upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You bestowed Your protection and goodness upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.
