O Allah, make me content with Your decree and bless me in what has been destined, so that I do not desire to hasten what You have delayed, nor to delay what You have hastened.
Allahumma raddini biqada'ika wa barik li fi qadarika hatta la uhibba ta'jeela ma akhkharta wa la ta'jeera ma 'ajjalt.

How to Read
Recite this dua with sincerity and a humble heart. Reflect on the meaning of contentment with Allah's divine plan. Raise your hands as you would in supplication during prayer. Feel the weight of destiny being lifted as you entrust yourself to the Most Wise and Merciful.
Virtues & Benefits
This supplication embodies true reliance on Allah (Tawakkul). By seeking contentment with His decree, we acknowledge His perfect wisdom and timing, which is often beyond our comprehension. It brings peace to the heart, reduces anxiety about the future, and fosters gratitude for all situations. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that true faith includes accepting the good and the bad that Allah has ordained.

Narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: 'The best supplication is 'Arafah (the supplication of the Day of 'Arafah), and the best saying of the prophets before me is: 'La ilaha illallah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer' (There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion, His is the praise, and He is able to do all things). And the best supplication of the night is: Allahumma raddini biqada'ika wa barik li fi qadarika hatta la uhibba ta'jeela ma akhkharta wa la ta'jeera ma 'ajjalt. (O Allah, make me content with Your decree and bless me in what has been destined, so that I do not desire to hasten what You have delayed, nor to delay what You have hastened).
