O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, and save me from what You have made unlawful, and enrich me by Your grace, so that I may not need the help of any other than You.

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or have retained in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and old age, and from stinginess. And I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the trials of life and death.

All praise is due to Allah. O Allah, just as You have made my form beautiful, make my character beautiful.
O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
