I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or have taught to any one of Your creation, or have revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sadness, and a reliever of my worries.
O Allah, forgive [Name of the deceased], elevate his rank among those who are guided. Grant Your succession to his descendants. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Make his grave spacious and fill it with light for him.

O Allah, Revealer of the Book, Swift in account, defeat the confederates! O Allah, defeat them and shake them!
O Allah, I ask You for everlasting bliss and coolness of the eye that never ceases. I ask You for contentment after destiny, and a pleasant life after death. I ask You for the delight of gazing upon Your Face, and the longing to meet You, not in hardship causing harm, nor in trials leading astray. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith and make us guides, rightly guided.

O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining One, by Your mercy I seek help. Rectify for me all my affairs and do not entrust me to myself even for the blink of an eye.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
