Duas for healing and visiting the sick
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or kept hidden in Your unseen knowledge, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I seek guidance with Your knowledge, and seek power with Your power, and I ask of Your great bounty. For indeed You have power and I have no power; You know and I do not know; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (mention the matter here: choosing a medical treatment) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my end โ in this world and the Hereafter โ then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my end โ in this world and the Hereafter โ then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and decree for me whatever is good, and make me satisfied with it.
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the affliction, heal him, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no sickness behind.
