اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ، وَفَجْأَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demise of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your wrath, and all that angers You.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa faj'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhathik.
When to Read
This dua is comprehensive and can be recited at any time. It is particularly poignant when we feel ourselves slipping, or when we witness others falling into disobedience. Reciting it in the morning and evening, as is the sunnah for many protective duas, is highly recommended.
