Duas for various evening activities and settling down
O Allah, I have entered upon the morning, bearing witness to You, and to the carriers of Your Throne, and to Your angels, and to all of Your creation, that You are Allah, there is no god but You alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is Your servant and Your Messenger.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your grace, so that I may not need anyone besides You.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whispers of devils and from their presence.
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whispers of the devils and from their presence.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the promptings of the devils, and from their being present.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overpowered by men.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Narrated Abu Saโid Al-Khudri: The Prophet ๏ทบ said: 'If one of you sees a bad dream, it is from Satan, so he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil, and not tell it to anyone.'
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
In the name of Allah, I have laid down my side. O Allah, forgive my sin, purify my heart, make my affair easy for me, and protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your creation. They (the Companions) asked: O Messenger of Allah, who would be pleased on that night? He said: Have you not heard the saying of Talhah ibn 'Ubaydillah, and his narration: 'O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.'
With Your name, my Lord, I lie down, and with Your name I rise. If You take my soul, have mercy on it. And if You keep it, protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
