Source & Authentication
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Whoever says this in the morning: 'Allahumma inni asbahtu ush-hiduka wa ush-hidu hamalata 'arshika wa mala'ikatika wa jamee'a khalqika annaka ant-Allah, la ilaha illa Anta wahdaka la shareeka lak, wa anna Muhammadan 'abdika wa rasooluk' (O Allah, I have entered upon the morning, bearing witness to You, and to the carriers of Your Throne, and to Your angels, and to all of Your creation, that You are Allah, there is no god but You alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is Your servant and Your Messenger) - Allah will exempt him from the Fire [of Hell].' (Sunan Abi Dawud 5076). While the hadith specifies 'morning,' the core message of testifying to Allah's oneness and His blessings is timeless and can be a powerful reflection at any time, including the evening.
