Duas for the deceased
O Allah, forgive [Name of the deceased] son of [Father's Name], and elevate his rank among those who are guided. And grant his descendants who are left behind. And forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. And widen his grave and illuminate it for him.
O Allah, forgive him (mention name) and have mercy on him, and grant him well-being, and pardon him. Honor his reception and make his grave spacious. Wash him with water, snow, and hail. Cleanse him of sins just as white cloth is cleansed of dirt. Give him a home better than his home, and a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. Admit him to Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.
O Allah, forgive [Name of deceased son of Name of father], have mercy upon him, grant him relief, pardon him, honor his resting place, make his entrance wide, cleanse him with water, snow, and hail. O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whoever You cause to live from among us, let him live upon Islam, and whoever You cause to die from among us, let him die upon faith. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward and do not let us go astray after him.
