O Allah, forgive him (mention name) and have mercy on him, and grant him well-being, and pardon him. Honor his reception and make his grave spacious. Wash him with water, snow, and hail. Cleanse him of sins just as white cloth is cleansed of dirt. Give him a home better than his home, and a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. Admit him to Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.
Allahumma-ghfir li-falaan (his name) war-ham-hu wa 'aafi-hi wa'-fu 'an-hu, wa akrim nuzula-hu wa wassi' madkhala-hu, waghsil-hu bil-ma'i wath-thalji wal-baradi, wa naqqi-hi minal-khataya kama yunaqqath-thawbul-abyadhu minad-danasi, wa abdil-hu daran khayran min dari-hi, wa ahlan khayran min ahli-hi, wa zawjan khayran min zawji-hi, wa adkhil-hul-jannata wa a'idh-hu min 'adhab-il-qabri wa min 'adhabin-nar.

Narrated Awf ibn Maalik: I attended the funeral of a deceased person and Allah's Messenger ﷺ stood up and so did we. He said: 'O people, seek forgiveness for your brother and ask for firmness for him, for he is being questioned now.' Then Allah's Messenger ﷺ supplicated: 'O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, and grant him firmness, and give him stability.' (Sahih Muslim 963)
