اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ وَأَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَزَوْجًا خَيْرًا مِنْ زَوْجِهِ وَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ
O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, and pardon him and honor his hospitality, and make his grave spacious. And cleanse him with water, snow, and hail. And purify him from sins just as a white garment is purified from dirt. And give him a house better than his house, and a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. And admit him to Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and from the punishment of the Fire.
Allahummaghfir lahu warhamhu wa 'afihi wa'fu 'anhu wa akrim nuzulahu wa wassi' mudkhalahu waghsilhu bilma'i waththalji walbaradi wa naqqihi minal khataaya kama yunaqqath thawbul abyadu minad danas. Wa abdilhu daaran khayran min daarihi wa ahlan khayran min ahlihi wa zawjan khayran min zawjihi. Wa adkhilhul Jannata wa a'idhhu min 'adhab al-qabri wa min 'adhabin naar.

Narrated 'Awf bin Malik Al-Ashja'i: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) pronouncing judgment in a funeral service. He said: 'O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him and pardon him and honor his hospitality and make his grave spacious. And cleanse him with water, snow, and hail. And purify him from sins just as a white garment is purified from dirt. And give him a house better than his house, and a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. And admit him to Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and from the punishment of the Fire.' 'Awf bin Malik said: 'At that time, I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, may Allah make your hands dusty (i.e., may you be rewarded for this prayer), let him be admitted to Paradise and be protected from the punishment of the Fire.' The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Or (have you not heard that) I said: 'O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him and pardon him and honor his hospitality, and make his grave spacious. And cleanse him with water, snow, and hail. And purify him from sins just as a white garment is purified from dirt. And give him a house better than his house, and a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. And admit him to Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and from the punishment of the Fire.' So I (the narrator) said: 'I bear witness that I have no objection to what the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has said.'
