Duas and remedies for controlling anger
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the overpowering of men.
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected.
I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Magnificent Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, the Cleaver of the grain and the date-stone, the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion. I seek refuge in You from the evil of all things, the forelock of which You are seizing. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the Apparent, so there is nothing above You; You are the Hidden, so there is nothing nearer than You. Discharge our debts from us and enrich us from poverty.
O Allah, I ask You for the performance of good deeds, and abandonment of evils, and love for the poor, and that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to bring mischief upon Your creation, receive me to Yourself without testing me. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, forgive me, guide me, have mercy on me, grant me well-being, and provide for me.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. O Allah, forgive me my sin, remove the anger from my heart, save me from Satan, and save me from the accursed Satan.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. And when You intend to try people with a trial, take me to Yourself (in piety) without being tried. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the accursed Satan, from his madness, his arrogance, and his poetry.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment on me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my grief, and a reliever of my anxiety.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the evil suggestions of devils, and from their being present.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what it was created with.
