Seeking Patience and Forgiveness During Difficulty

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or that You have kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries. O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or that You have kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen, that You make the night and day the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries. O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment concerning me is just.
