All praise is for Allah Who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy on them as they cared for me when I was young.
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [also] from my offspring. Our Lord, and accept [this] supplication.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear (You), from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not heard.
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it by ourselves. And indeed, to our Lord we will return. O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety and for deeds that please You in this journey of ours. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and make its distance short for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor to the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, from a sorrowful sight, and from bad circumstances in wealth and family.
O Allah, I ask You for doing good deeds, abandoning evil deeds, and loving the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to test Your servants with tribulation, then take me to Yourself without being tested.
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.
All praise is due to Allah Who clothed me with this (garment) and provided it for me, without any strength or power from my side.
O Allah, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy on them as they had mercy on me when I was young.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, bless us in what You have provided us, forgive us, and have mercy upon us.
