O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. And I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
We have entered the morning, and all sovereignty belongs to Allah. All praise is due to Allah. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, alone, without any partners. O my Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good of what comes after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what comes after it. O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of old age. O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave.
In the name of Allah, we believe in Allah, we rely on Allah, there is no might nor power except with Allah.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or kept hidden in Your unseen knowledge, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I ask You by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over creation: keep me alive as long as You know that life is best for me, and cause me to die when You know that death is best for me. I ask You for Your fear in secret and in public. I ask You for the word of truth in times of contentment and anger. I ask You for moderation in poverty and wealth. I ask You for everlasting bliss. I ask You for the joy of looking at Your Face and the longing to meet You, without any hardship or misleading trials. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith and make us guides who are guided.
O Allah, I seek guidance with Your knowledge, and seek power with Your power, and I ask of Your great bounty. For indeed You have power and I have no power; You know and I do not know; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (mention the matter here: choosing a medical treatment) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my end – in this world and the Hereafter – then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my end – in this world and the Hereafter – then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and decree for me whatever is good, and make me satisfied with it.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, and sustenance that is pure (halal), and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow. I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. And I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt and being subjugated by men.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and secure me from what I fear. O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me, and from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being struck from beneath me.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth nor in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
All praise is for Allah Who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, without any strength or power on my part.
