We have entered the evening and all sovereignty belongs to Allah. All praise is due to Allah. There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. My Lord, I ask of You the good of this night and the good of what is in it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what is in it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of the devils and their presence.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm in the earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
My Lord, grant me from the righteous.
O Allah, grant my soul its piety, and purify it, for You are the Best Purifier. You are its Guardian and Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that is of no benefit, from a heart that is not humble, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not heard. O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty. O Allah, protect me from the accursed Shaytan.
