Duas for sincere repentance and turning back to Allah
My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen/discharge.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
O Allah, forgive me for all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden. Rectify by it my skin, my flesh, my bones, and all that I know and all that I do not know.
O Allah, forgive me for what I have done in the past and what I will do in the future, what I have done secretly and what I have done publicly, what I have done extravagantly, and what You know better about me. You are the One Who brings forth and the One Who delays. There is no god but You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, by which You have taught it to any of Your creation, or revealed it in Your Book, or preserved it in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sadness and a reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the guide away from my worries, and an aid for me against [my desires], and a fighter against my enemies, and a guide for me to Paradise, and a driver away from the Hellfire (by which what is lawful and unlawful is distinguished).
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the secret.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor, and that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to try Your creation with a trial, then take me to Yourself without [being tried and falling into] that trial. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, I ask You for a sound heart, and I ask You for a heart that turns back (to You), and I ask You for a humble heart, and I ask You for beneficial knowledge, and I ask You for truthful certainty, and I ask You for upright religion, and I ask You for well-being in the body, and I ask You for well-being in hearing, and I ask You for well-being in sight, and I ask You for well-being in the stomach, and I ask You for well-being in the private parts. And I ask You, my Lord, to forgive my sin and my ignorance, and I ask You to make my scale (of good deeds) heavy. And I ask You, my Lord, for levels above levels. I ask You, my Lord, for abundant good. I ask You, my Lord, for success on the Day of Judgment, a happy Eid (celebration/return). And I ask You for bliss on the Day of Giving, and I ask You for security on the Day of Fear. Our Lord, accept from us; indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. And turn to us (in forgiveness); indeed, You are the Ever-Returning, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen (or private parts).
Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him, I seek forgiveness from Allah and I turn to Him in repentance.
