Duas taught by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
O Allah, I ask You for Your mercy, do not leave me to myself for even the blink of an eye, and set right all my affairs. There is no god but You.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, sustenance that is pure and lawful, and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the distress of calamity, the attainment of wretchedness, the evil of decree, the rejoicing of enemies, the pangs of affliction, the overwhelming of debt, and subjugation by enemies.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my property. O Allah, conceal my faults and alleviate my anxieties. O Allah, protect me from my front, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me. I seek refuge in Your magnificence lest I be consumed from beneath me.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of Your good health, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You dislike. And I seek refuge in You from the tribulation of the scholars (who mislead) and from the misguidance of the guides.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the distress of affliction, the attainment of wretchedness, the evil of decree, and the rejoicing of enemies.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
O Allah, forgive [so-and-so], elevate his status among those who are guided, and leave [a good legacy] for his descendants who remain. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Make his grave spacious for him and illuminate it for him.
O Allah, You are Oft-Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.
O Allah, teach me the Book (the Quran) and the reckoning (understanding). O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency (contentment).
O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You in the best manner.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of the Hellfire, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the Dajjal.
