In the name of Allah. O Allah, guide him and direct him aright. Remember him with the mercy of your Lord. O Allah, teach him the Book. O Allah, make him understand the religion. O Allah, open for him the conquests of the knowledgeable.
In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in Allah's might and His power from the evil of what I find and what I fear.
"Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair [i.e., whatever concerns us] right-mindedness."
May Allah bless you in His gift to you, may the Giver be thanked, may the child reach maturity, and may you be granted its righteousness.

O Allah, bless him in his intellect, his knowledge, and the outcome of his deeds.
O Allah, make him blessed, and teach him the Book, and make him understand the religion, and grant him judgment and wisdom.
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and cause us to die as Muslims [in submission to You].
I seek protection for you with the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and every poisonous creature, and from every envious eye.
I seek protection for him/her with the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every poisonous creature, and from every envious eye.
I seek refuge for you with the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every beast, and from every evil eye. O Allah, make him blessed and guide him to Your straight path.
