Duas for qiyam al-layl, tahajjud, and late night devotion
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and deeds accepted.
O Allah, I ask You for a soul at ease, which believes in meeting You, is pleased with Your decree, and content with Your provision.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and richness (contentment).
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of tribulation, the attainmen of wretchedness, the evil of decree, and the rejoicing of enemies.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You in the best manner.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever-effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept with You in the hidden knowledge of the unseen: I ask that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxiety.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever enacted. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, I ask You for the acceptance of my deeds, and by Your grace, let me attain my desires. Accept [my deeds] from me, and do not cut off my hope. And conclude my life with righteous deeds that bring me closer to You, bring me closer to Your Paradise, bring me near to You, and save me from Your punishment.
O Allah, praise is due to You. You have clothed me with this garment and covered me. You have guided me, so I entered Islam. You have done this for me and inspired me. You have provided for me. So, continue to me Your blessings, my health, my well-being, and Your covering in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You to grant me the blessings of this night and its bounty, and to grant me its (night) prayer, and that my eyes may sleep until it is my last meal of the night.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the evil suggestions of devils and from their presence.
