اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْنِي الكِتَابَ وَالحِكْمَةَ، وَفَقِّهْنِي فِي الدِّينِ، وَسَرِّعْ لِي فَهْمَ القُرْآنِ.
O Allah, teach me the Book and wisdom, and grant me understanding in the religion, and expedite for me the comprehension of the Quran.
Allahumma 'allimni al-kitaba wal-hikmata, wa faqqihni fid-dina, wa sarr'i' li fahm al-qur'an.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said to Ibn `Abbas: 'O young man, I shall teach you some words. Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him before you. When you ask, ask of Allah. When you seek help, seek help from Allah. Know that if the creation were to unite to benefit you with something, they could not benefit you except with something that Allah had already decreed for you. If they were to unite to harm you with something, they could not harm you except with something that Allah had already decreed for you. The pens are lifted and the pages are dried.'
