Duas for seeking forgiveness from Allah
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of the Fire, and from the trial of wealth and poverty, and from the trial of the grave, and from the evil of the trial of the Dajjal. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my desires/semen.
O Allah, there is no omen except Your omen, and no good except Your good, and there is no god other than You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable. Your judgment concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept for Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, and the change of Your protection, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not humble itself, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and the evil of what I have not done.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden. And forgive me my poverty along with them. And I seek refuge in You from its fire and from its intense heat (Jahim).
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the small and the great, the first and the last, the apparent and the secret.
O Allah, forgive me for all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the secret.
O Allah, forgive me for my mistakes and my ignorance, and my extravagance in my affairs, and what You know better about me than I do. O Allah, forgive me for my jesting and my seriousness, and my unintentional and my intentional sins, and my resolve and my jesting, and all of that is with me. O Allah, forgive me for what I have done in the past and what I will do in the future, and what I have concealed and what I have done openly, and what You know better about me than I do. You are the One Who brings forth and the One Who delays, and You have power over all things.
O Allah, You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise [to You] as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So forgive me, for nobody can forgive sins except You.
