Duas for seeking forgiveness from Allah
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the vanishing of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all that displeases You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor, and that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to test a people, take me to Yourself without being tested. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which will bring me closer to Your love.
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and do not place upon us a burden which we have no strength to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.
O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden, the unintentional and the intentional.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable, and Your justice in my case is an evidence. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have revealed in Your Book, or You have taught to any one of Your creation, or You have kept exclusively for Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a departure for my sadness and a remover of my worries.
My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me.
O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me, and I am Your servant. I adhere to Your covenant and Your promise as best as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I confess my sin. Forgive me, for there is none who forgives sins except You.
I seek forgiveness from Allah, besides Whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer. And I turn to Him in repentance.
My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepter of Repentance, the Merciful.
