اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ، دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ، أَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ، عَلَانِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ، وَفِقْرِي مَعَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ عَنْ نَارِهِ وَعَنْ جَحِيمِهِ.
O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden. And forgive me my poverty along with them. And I seek refuge in You from its fire and from its intense heat (Jahim).
Allahumma-ghfirli dhambi kullahu, diqqahu wa jillahu, awwalahu wa akhirahu, 'alaniyatahu wa sirrahu, wa fiqri ma'ahu, wa a'udhu bika 'an naarihi wa 'an jaheemihi.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said: 'O Messenger of Allah, teach me words that I may say in the morning and evening.' He said: 'O Abu Bakr, say: O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord of all things and their Sovereign, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. I seek refuge in You from the evil of myself and from the evil of the Shaytan and his associates, and from committing evil against myself or bringing it upon any Muslim. O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord of all things and their Sovereign, I bear witness that there is no god but You. Do not entrust me to myself for an instant. O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord of all things and their Sovereign, I seek refuge in You from the evil of myself and from the evil of the Shaytan and his associates, and from what I might bring upon myself or any Muslim.' Abu Bakr said: 'Teach me words that I may say when I go to bed.' He said: 'Say: O Allah, submit myself to You, and turn my face to You, and entrust my affair to You, and seek refuge in You seeking (Your) protection, and seeking (Your) forgiveness.
