Evening remembrance and supplications
In the name of Allah, I lie down. O Allah, forgive my sins, and bring me to a good end, and send my soul to me, and increase my knowledge, and do not let me forget my religion, and do not tempt me, and do not give power over me to an expelled devil, nor to anyone of Your creation, unless You make a way for him.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and from the domination of men.
O Allah, I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and for the deeds which will bring me to Your love. O Allah, make Your love dearer to me than myself, my family, and than cold water.
In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah our Lord we place our trust.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure sustenance, and accepted deeds.
In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whispers of devils and from their attendance.
In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, incapacity and laziness, cowardice and stinginess, the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
