اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.
*Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.*
When to Read
This dua is ideally recited after the Asr prayer, as evening approaches, or right before sunset. It's a moment to pause before the day concludes, reflecting on what we've gained and asking for continued blessings.
How to Read
Recite this dua with sincere intention and conviction. Imagine the words reaching Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). Focus on the meaning of seeking knowledge that benefits, provision that is pure and lawful, and deeds that are accepted by our Creator. Raising your hands is optional but can enhance the feeling of supplication.
Virtues & Benefits
This supplication is profound because it asks for three pillars of a righteous and fulfilling life: **beneficial knowledge** (which guides us and increases our understanding of Allah), **good provision** (which sustains us lawfully and with barakah), and **accepted deeds** (which are the ultimate purpose of our existence, earning Allah's pleasure). By asking for these consistently, we align our daily lives with Allah's will, fostering contentment and gratitude for what He bestows. It helps us feel at peace, knowing we are striving for what truly matters in this life and the next.
