Duas during times of difficulty and hardship
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I ask You for a soul at rest with You, believing in Your meeting, content with Your decree, and pleased with Your gift.
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove this suffering. Heal him, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no ailment behind.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my anxiety, and my guide to You and to Your Paradise.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave, and from the torment of the Hellfire, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal).
O Allah, grant us rain! O Allah, grant us rain! O Allah, grant us rain!
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries, and my leader and my beloved.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt and from the domination of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy, and You make hardship easy if You will.
