Duas for relief from anxiety, worry, and distress
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree is to befall me. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do not entrust me to my own self for even the duration of an eye-blink, and set right all my affairs. There is no god but You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my flaws and secure my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your Greatness lest I be destroyed from beneath me.
O Allah, Restorer of the lost, Guide of the lost, guide me to my lost [item], grant me safety with Your safety, for it is from Your giving and Your grace.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt and being dominated by men.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your judgment of me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or which You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable, and Your judgment concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone among Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sorrow, and the remover of my anxiety.
