Duas for relief from anxiety, worry, and distress
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of tribulation, the attainment of misery, the evil of decree, and the rejoicing of enemies.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
"O Allah, I take refuge in You from worry and grief, and I take refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I take refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I take refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men."
There is no deity but You; exalted are You! Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
There is no might nor power except with Allah.
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the oppression of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
My Lord, expand my chest [with assurance] and make my task easy for me, and untie the knot from my tongue so they may understand my speech.
