Duas for relief from anxiety, worry, and distress
O Allah, we ask You to protect us from them and seek refuge in You from their evil.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by men.
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, instead of what You have made unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need anyone but You.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming burden of debt and from being overpowered by men.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment on me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxiety.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable. Your justice in me is unavoidable. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my grief, and the dispeller of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, and I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me.
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the suffering. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
