Duas to recite after meals
All praise is for Allah, much praise, good and blessed praise. [We praise Him] in a way that is sufficient, not abandoned, and indispensable, our Lord.
O Allah, feed the one who fed me, and give drink to the one who gave me drink.
All praise is due to Allah Who has fed us and given us water, and Who has sufficed us and protected us, and given us shelter. There is no sufficiency against Him, nor a counter-part, nor is He to be surpassed, nor is anything equal to Him.
O Allah, feed those who fed me and give drink to those who gave me to drink.
All praise is due to Allah, an abundant, pure, blessed praise. (We praise Him) without (being able to) dispense with Him, nor as a farewell, nor (because we are) self-sufficient from Him, our Lord.
All praise is due to Allah Who fed me this and provided it to me without any strength or power from myself.
O Allah, feed those who fed me, and give drink to those who gave me drink.
All praise is for Allah Who fed us and gave us to drink, and Who sufficed us and sheltered us. For how many are there for whom there is no one to suffice them and no one to shelter them?
O Allah, bless it for us and increase us from it.
Praise be to Allah, much praise, pure and blessed. It is not enough, nor is it taken leave of, nor is it unnecessary, our Lord.
The thirst has gone, the veins are quenched, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.
