I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, forgive [name of deceased], raise his station among those who are guided, and leave behind successors for him among those who remain. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds, and make his grave spacious and light it up for him.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female slave. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or You have kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
My Lord, grant me from the righteous [offspring].
O Allah, make him one who is blessed, protect him from evil, and bless him in his fasting and his standing [in prayer].
O Allah, teach me the Book and the reckoning, grant me understanding of wisdom, and teach me the interpretation.
In the name of Allah. O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this night and the goodness of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what follows it. O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.
May Allah bless you in your family and your wealth.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the temptations of devils, and from their presence.
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and leave not in our hearts hatred [for those who have believed]. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is inevitable. Your judgment of me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which is with You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the remover of my grief, and the banisher of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
