O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a remover of my sadness and a banisher of my worries.
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and do not put malice in our hearts toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.
O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your slaves.
Praise be to Allah, [such] a plentiful, pure, blessed praise. [We are] not self-sufficient, nor is it taken leave of, nor is He [O our Lord] dispensable.
In the name of Allah, I lay down my side. O Allah, forgive my sins, silence my devil, make me firm in my uprightness, make my scale heavy, and suffice me from my poverty. Do not let the devil overtake me in my wakefulness, cut off my enemy from me, protect me from the deceit of what You have given, and save me from the evil of badness, and do not grant me any evil in it.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demise of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, make the best of my life the part that is last, and the best of my deeds the deeds that are done at the end, and the best of my days the day when I meet You.
O Allah, benefit me from what You have taught me, and teach me what will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, reckon me with an easy reckoning.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone in Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties.
O Allah, forgive him and have mercy upon him, grant him well-being and pardon him. Honor his استقبال (guests/arrival), make his grave spacious. Wash him with water, snow, and hail. Purify him from sins as a white garment is purified from dirt. Exchange his dwelling for a better one, his family for a better one, and his spouse for a better one. Enter him into Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.
