In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and in Your name I raise it. If You seize my soul, then have mercy on it, and if You release it, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
By Your name, my Lord, I lie down and by Your name I rise. If You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return my soul, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
I seek Your forgiveness. All praise is due to Allah, Who removed from me the harm and granted me well-being.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, our Lord and Lord of all things, the Cleaver of the grain and the date stone, the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion (Quran)! I seek refuge in You from the evil of every creature You are seizing by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the apparent, so there is nothing above You; You are the hidden, so there is nothing nearer than You. Settle my debt and enrich me from poverty.
O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, by Your mercy I seek help. Rectify for me all of my affairs and do not entrust me to myself even for the span of a blinking eye.
My Lord, expand for me my chest, and make easy for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth nor in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, just as You sent Your blessings upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious. O Allah, bestow Your blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, just as You bestowed Your blessings upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious.
O Allah, I ask You for patience in the face of what I dislike, and a life after death, and delight in looking at Your Face, and a longing to meet You, without any hardship causing harm or misguiding trials. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith, and make us guides who are rightly guided.
O Allah, I ask You for Your gentleness, Your mercy, Your guidance, Your provision, and Your well-being.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment against me is inevitable. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or that You have taught to any of Your creation, or that You have sent down in Your Book, or that You have retained in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties.
